Not only we see a change in how resources are provisioned; from physical to logical. But vendors such as Cisco create networks as a platform from which you deploy virtual everything logical. They work closely with vendors such as VMware and Original Storage manufacturers to strive for perfection. This increases the agility of entrepreneurs in many ways. From process integration internal or external to staging new applications or products all done way faster then we used to do. Facilitating demanding network or compute environments due a sudden or planned need to work for employees in project matrix structures or at remote locations, web 2.0 projects is no problemo anymore. All becomes a lot more agile now IT moves from a service oriented organization and a shift from breaking fixes to driving innovation. The field of how we collaborate and communicate becomes a lot more interesting too in the light of OODA. Where Unified communications a few years ago was more or less all about VOIP, one number reach, presence information et cetera today we see Cisco's really understands and address vital challenges. All HPO's have one thing in common they do well in managing their knowledge as an asset. All strategic choices have to be made well informed but even in the largest companies it's always the question where to find. Cisco's collaborative tools will help people find other people who are also involved or experienced in the subject. The new manager can find their fora and knowledge workers at ease. Not only that; imagine collaboration in company private communities irrelevant of time or place without the need for travelling forming knowledge intensive and dynamic project groups in an efficient manner. To some companies that's not so far as one may think.. This will not only help the decision maker to get the information, but will help him gain n flywheel effect for support lower in the organization by involvement and automatic help the motivation of personnel simply by assigning them logical.
